Thank you again to all the law enforcement officers, first responders and the whole community who came out in their thousands and thousands to be a part of such an amazing coming together of the community! It was great to see the delight on people’s faces as they cheered for Peter, Nero and all of the parade participants. To see Nero walking alongside Peter you could feel the spirit of Sean with them. Sean's spirit was with us all yesterday and will continue to shine in our community.
Please take a moment and answer a few quick questions from our survey here and share your photos on our Facebook Page. We would love to see your view and the parade through your eyes. Find our post pinned at the top!

OPERATION SAFE RIDE HOME ACTIVATED CAPE COD ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
In recognition of the 14th Annual Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade, the Yarmouth Police Department will activate Operation Safe Ride Home on Friday, March 8th starting at 6:00 PM on and ending at 2:00 AM on Sunday.
Any citizen who needs a free and safe ride home from a Yarmouth licensed liquor establishment should call Town Taxi directly at 508.775.5555.
This Operation Safe Ride Home is funded by the Yarmouth Restaurant Association---with an extra special $500 donation this year by Colonial Beverage of North Dartmouth---and involves a free and safe ride home to anyone from any Yarmouth liquor establishment.
Do not drink and drive and if you need a ride home take advantage of this highly successful program which will provide citizens with a free ride home anytime between 6PM on Friday and 2AM on Sunday.
The men and women of the Yarmouth Police Department are dedicated to transforming Yarmouth in to one of the safest communities in the region and we appreciate our long time positive community policing partnerships with Town Taxi and the Yarmouth Restaurant Association.
Please be smart and be safe and best wishes to all for a great Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Parade Weekend.
