2015 Colleen Finalists
Laura is a senior at Sandwich High School. She is the soprano section leader in the show choir, Sandwich Soul, as well as a member of the girls varsity tennis team. Laura shares her athletic talents by teaching tennis to children in the Mashpee REC program. With family in Connemara and Castlebar, Laura has spent many summers making wonderful memories with them in Ireland. She will continue making Irish memories as she will be entering the Arts Honors Degree at National University of Ireland Maynooth, County Kildare.
Brenna is a senior at Monomoy Regional High School. She is president of the National Honor Society as well as president of Interact Club. Brenna is an active member of Student Council, Best Buddies, French and Art clubs, STAND as well her local Youth Council. She has played field hockey throughout her high school career and served as captain this past fall season. Brenna plans on studying business here in the United States as will as abroad in Ireland.
Kiera is a Senior at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. She has been accepted to the Elementary Education Program at Endicott College, Assumption College, Bridgewater State University and is waiting to hear from Westfield State. She is a member of the Prom and Yearbook Committees. Kiera is also involved in the Internship Programs assisting students in the Station A venue Elementary and Mattacheese Middle Schools as well as coaching softball at the Middle School along with other after school activities. Kiera's Irish heritage is very important to her and her family and hopes to visit Ireland in the near future.
Emily is a Senior at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School where she is the flute section leader in the Marching Band. She is also a 2014 graduate of the Drum Major Academy at U. Mass. Amherst. Emily is the Vice President of the National Art Honor Society (NAHS), an organization with which she will travel to Italy in the next few weeks for an eight day tour. Emily organized and was elected President of her high school's Irish Club. She has also been involved in the Special Olympics and volunteering her time to work with children to assist organizations such as the Rotary Club and Yarmouth Food Pantry.
